What is the book „Human Heritage Museum“ about?
This book is a guide for those who aspire to preserve their name in the memory of future generations. It harmoniously intertwines artistic imagery with documentary evidence based on real-life events.
Human life is rich with emotion and creativity, yet all too often, no trace remains after one passes — achievements simply dissolve into the flow of time. Currently, information about outstanding individuals is scattered across the globe, making it difficult to locate and truly appreciate their impact. It is far more valuable to have a unified space where everyone can discover the positive contributions made by the finest representatives of humanity to the development of civilization.
It was the desire to overcome this injustice and triumph over oblivion that prompted Kris Kristi to create this work and propose the concept of the Human Heritage Museum.
Who am I, the author of this book?
My first steps in this world were taken back in the era of the Soviet Union. My nationality is Ukrainian, and my home is located in one of the prosperous European countries.
I am now a widower; my wife passed away from liver cancer, and I have no children. In keeping with the spirit of the times, I was fortunate enough to master the professions of web designer and video editor, as I recognized that digital design has become an integral part of modern society in the age of the Internet.
What prompted me to write this book?
As a deeply religious person, I believe in eternity with God, the Creator of the universe. Throughout their existence, people live, feel, and create, and eventually depart for another world. Yet, their lives usually remain undocumented and forgotten, leaving behind no traces of their creative footprint.
For a time, relatives may keep mementos and photos of their loved ones, but after many years and the passing of generations, those memories dissolve, everything is lost, and the deceased are forgotten forever. Even descendants who wish to learn about the lives of their ancestors struggle to find information because previous generations—for whatever reason—did not take care to preserve that memory. Posterity often has no way of knowing what their ancestors looked like or what they did for a living.
This sad state of affairs prompted me to „pick up the pen“ and write this book. The desire to contribute to preserving the memory of all people and to teach everyone what can be done to avoid falling into oblivion became my primary motive, my calling, and my source of inspiration.
